Rollertown Oktoberfest – Sept 16th-25th

Touch-A -Truck – Sept 17th from 9am to 12pm

A “wheelie” exciting, family-fun event!

A FREE event Downtown that offers kids of all ages an interactive and fun learning experience. Attendees are welcome to explore the ins and outs of the city equipment and tools that staff use to keep the city running. Representatives from various departments will be onsite with their vehicles to answer questions and hand out goodies. In addition, there will be food trucks and family-friendly activities to enjoy. Celina Heritage Festival – Saturday, Sept 24th from 9am to 12pm

Saddle up your whole family and come out as the Historic Downtown Square is transformed into the Wild Wild West. Celina Heritage Festival celebrates Celina’s history and cowboy culture by hosting a Cowboy Poetry Contest. This inaugural event will take place in Celina’s Historic Downtown Square.

The Celina Public Library is hosting a Cowboy Poetry Contest and invites poets of all ages to submit their work. Winners of each age bracket will get the chance to present their poems live on stage at the Celina Heritage Festival! There will be fun activities for the whole family including free western carnival games, calf roping lessons, and a community art project. Celina Oktoberfest – Saturday, Oct 1st from 11am to 10pm

Tap into the fun at Celina Oktoberfest! Join us for our 4th annual event and celebrate German culture in true Texas Style. National Night Out – Tuesday, October 4th from 6pm to 9pm

Celebrate in your neighborhood or join Celina PD on the Square

Help the Celina Police Department promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This FREE event is a great way to get to know your neighbors and send a message to would-be criminals that your neighborhood is well-organized and protected. Various neighborhoods will be hosting a neighborhood block party for National Night Out. In addition, feel free to join us in Downtown Celina’s block party on the Square!

Welcome to the Halloween Capital of North Texas

It’s no secret that Celina loves a good festival, and those who have attended Beware! of the Square know that it’s one of the City’s best. Drawing thousands of zombies, jedis, and princesses to the historic downtown Square each year, this event offers the perfect mix of spooky and sweet.

We are so excited to announce that the City of Celina was designated the official Halloween Capital of North Texas by Collin County Judge Chris Hill in 2021.
